Giant Bugs & Dino Planet at Sofia Central Station
Extended by popular demand: our Giant Bugs exhibition at Sofia Central Train Station grew into a crossover event with 18 life-size dinosaurs, open until 31 May 2026.
Giant Bugs opened in December 2025 at the Children Exhibition Centre on the second floor of Sofia Central Train Station. Visitors shrink to the size of an insect and walk among giant butterflies, ladybirds, scorpions, spiders and many more creatures that move and make sound, in themed habitats from the desert to the kitchen.
Because of its success, the run was extended until 31 May 2026 and the exhibition evolved into Giant Bugs & Dino Planet. Exactly 18 life-sized dinosaurs joined the insects, turning the centre into an interactive Jurassic adventure.
New dinosaur features include a T-Rex that children can ride, face-to-face meetings with crowd favourites such as the armoured Ankylosaurus and the Allosaurus, a fossil excavation site where young explorers dig up dinosaur bones, and the Dino-Bird room about the feathered link between dinosaurs and modern birds.
Both Giant Bugs and our dinosaur collection are Coco Agency productions and are available to rent for shopping centres, museums and public venues.
